Early career

In boyhood, Kamada began playing football at the local club’s FC Zebra Kids (formerly Kids FC). When he was in elementary school sixth grade, the club entered the national tournament and won the championship. 

After entering junior high school, he joined Junior Youth of Gamba Osaka belonging to the J League. This youth team is prestigious to produce Keisuke Honda and others.

However, he could not be promoted to the youth team of Gamba Osaka, so he advanced to Higashiyama High School in Kyoto. Higashiyama High School participated in the “West side of the Takamadonomiya Cup U – 18 Football League Premier League” which the J – League Youth Team and the high school ‘s soccer club gathered. He played 18 matches in the league as a forward, scored 22 goals and high school got 3rd. However, the following year, when he was in the third grade of high school, he could only score 10 goals, and the team was at the bottom. Still, there were 5 clubs interested in his scoring ability, and Kamada decided to join Sagan Tosu in that.

Kamada who joined Sagan Tosu in 2015 was a rookie year but participated in 28 games and scored 3 goals. He played not only as an Attacking midfielder but also as Defensive midfielder. 

In the 2016 – 2017 season, he participated in 34 matches, scored 8 goals and became the main force of the team in the second year. 

During the 2017 – 2018 season, he continued to play as a regular player of the team and played in 18 matches and scored 5 goals before joining Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. of Bundesliga.

On June 24, 2017, Kamada signed a contract with Frankfurt of Bundesliga for four years. In addition, this club currently belongs to the Japanese player Makoto Hasebe, and in the past also Japanese junior players Naoyasu Takahara, Junichi Inamoto and Takashi Inui belonged.

International career

Kamada was elected U-23 member of Japan national football team on 2016 Toulon Tournament, but could not leave results. Therefore, he was out of the Japanese team of Football at the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro. 

As of September 6, 2017, he has never been elected a senior Japan national football team.

Kamada’s style of play is summarized below.

・The player who marks Kamada is hard to take the ball and he can withdraw marker because the dribbling pace is unique.

・He was originally a forward, so shooting skills are amazing.

・He always thinks about play that the opponent does not suppose.

Summary

Kamada has never been selected as a senior Japan National team. However, it may be chosen as a member of the 2018 FIFA World Cup depending on the future activity in Frankfurt.
